About Me.
I am a multicultural hairstylist, educator, and diversity advocate with over 35 years of experience.
Over the years, I have invested in my personal development.This commitment has not only expanded my technical skills but also deepened my understanding of cultural nuances within the beauty industry. Each clients interaction presents as an opportunity to learn, grow, and break barriers-reinforcing my belief that hair is a universal language that connects us all.
My goal was to master all hair types. My chair is a melting pot for hair.
I have built a reputation for creating a welcoming, respectful space for every client who sits in my chair. At the same time, I have navigated the realities of microaggressions, assumptions, biases, and misunderstandings that often happen behind the chair. My work blends artistry with advocacy, and I am passionate about empowering other stylists who serve diverse communities.
My mission now is to elevate other stylist to do the same: to build confidence, offer inclusive services, and create salon spaces where every client feels seen, valued, respected and cared for.

IN THIS EVER-EVOLVING INDUSTRY, CONTINUOUS EDUCATION IS CRUCIAL. I AM A CERTIFIED MASTER STYLIST AND MASTER COLORIST, SPECIALIZING IN COLOR CORRECTIONS AND CUSTOM HAIR PAINTING.
IM WELL TRAINED IN PRECISION AND RAZOR HAIRCUTTING.
I POSSESS EXTENSIVE EXPERIENCE IN CUSTOMER SERVICE AND EXPERTISE IN CUSTOMER RELATIONS. ADDITIONALLY, I HOLD A CERTIFICATION IN THE ART OF CONSULTATION AND EXCEL IN PROBLEM SOLVING.
I AM ALSO A CERTIFIED MAKEUP ARTIST, SKILLED IN PROVIDING ON-SITE HAIR AND MAKEUP SERVICES FOR EVENTS, TELEVISION, AND FILM PRODUCTIONS.
